A hike for everyone

The summit of Mount Veten in Bodø, is known as the Keiservarden. The Keiservarden is named after Emperor Wilhelm II of Germany who visited the mountain top on July 16, 1889. The mountain is one of the most popular departure places in the municipality and is known for its annual concert in connection with Nordland Music Festival. We can't always offer a concert or Tango at the top, but the view and the magic of the place are always the same. Keiservarden (Veten), is 366 meters above sea level. A straightforward and easy walk and you do not need many elevators until you get a spectacular view. The guides meet you at the hotel and take care of you from start to finish. The guides will show the way and teach about nature and culture heartiage.
