We recommend however Bodø as the best startingpoint. On arrival in Bodø you may want to stay overnight and this will give you the opportunity to experience one of our exciting activities before continuing your journey to Lofoten just a few hours away.

You can then reach Lofoten by the coastal steamer "Hurtigruten", by plane or by a chartered catamaran. Smaller boats (sea safari with RIB`s) are also available and probably a bit more adventurous.

Accommondation in Lofoten can either be in one of the hotels, (Henningsvær Bryggehotel) or in a "rorbu" (Nyvaagar Rorbuhotel) a modernized traditional fisherma`s cabin. The local cuisine is well wort a try based on old traditional menues with fish and lamb as the main ingredients (Arctic menu)

Other activities available include canoe/kayak trips, bicykle, sea-rafting, mountaineering, a Viking feast at BORG Viking museum, deep-sea fishing, trip to Trollfjord or maybe just sightseeing by boat or coach.
