Nordland has the largest number of caves in all of Scandinavia and is due to the special geology in the district.

Many of the caves are still undiscovered, some are extremely difficult to reach while others are easily accessible and are perfect to explore.

No previous experience is necessary however some physical requirements are needed. A trip into the caves is available whatever the weather or time of year, all you need is a good pair of hiking boots and warm outdoor clothing. We supply the caveing equipment ( overalls, helmet, harness, torches etc)
